Dear all Ching,
I am a new DSLR user of Canon 5D2. I currently have a 24-105L and SSW already. As I like to take macro shotting very much, I want to buy a macro lens. I am considering between the EF100/2.8L and Sigma 150 EX. Although EF100/2.8 has IS function, Sigma 150EX has a longer distance. Is the longer distance in a macro lens is better for FF camera?

Grateful if anyone couold give me a suggestion.

Sigma就出一支150mm有防震的微距鏡,可以考慮.

Thanks a lot for your information

I believe that Sigma 150mm/2.8 with OS should be a good choice, but its price seems to be higher than 7,000.

If any Ching is using 5D2 with Sigma macro right now, please give me some advice on this lens. If it is good enough even without OS, I will choose it.

If you use flash for macro, then there's no problem even it is non-is lenses

If you like MF, voigtlander 125/2.5 is a good choice!

師兄我是剛入手180mm的, 180mm都嫌短、正尋找便宜的1.4x extender.
一向接收的訊息是微距無弱旅、其實每支成像都有不俗的表現、但操控及速度卻影響(一矢中的)機會率。Final 不建議低於150mm的 Marco.
