5DmkII 好似對焦方面比40D慢, 對唔到的情況比較多, 請問大家有無同感?

The condition for using 全十字點 is yr lens have f2.8.

I agree. The center point is fine. but just the outer points is a bit slow and in ok light but 反差低 (like a white wall) it a lot harder to focus then 40D. I wonder why?

I use 16-35 2.8 and 50 1.2 to test, all on or under 2.8.

I have 3 more days on the 10 days exchange period, if this problem is a norm, then will save me going back... haha

我上 showroom 試，十幾張相得一次對唔到。

我部5DMKII對焦無問題,日夜都影過,相很SHARP,不覺有問題.對焦不要對單色,有反差和色差才對得到.

5D II and 50D definitely focusing faster and more accurate than 40D la.

I use 5D and 40D before and now owns 5D II and used 50D briefly and long time 1 series user. I am totally happy with the 5D II as compare to 5D (of course it is 3 years old and was really good for quality but the focusing was not always reliable). And of course still a little bit less than 1 series' 45 points of course.

The Digic IV is not there for no reason. The 5D use Digic II and 40D use Digic III. You can work it out yourself.

Points are not the only improvement (well no improvement) in fact from 5D and 40D but the DIGIC really makes the different. Don't let the number of points foo you.

no camera are perfect, some time fine tune by hand should be necessary.
5D M2 photo quality is better.
