今日發神經將一個已經由raw export返去jepg既album再export多一次..
發現lightroom將我之前執既野apply兩次落同一張相到!
e.g. 我crop細左將相export左一次， 今日唔小心export第二次個陣佢再幫我crop細啲...

有無師兄可以教我點樣令lightroom唔會re-apply d adjustment?

仲有，有無方法可以將一張執左又export左既jepg還完返未執之前咁樣？

I assume you take your pictures in Raw, do your adjustments in Lightroom, and export to jpeg for print or to share. In that case if you need to 還完返未執之前咁樣, you will need to start it from the Raw picture and not the exported jpeg. In Develop there is Reset option in bottom right to do that.

As applying the same adjustments twice when doing export or re-export, I have never experienced that issue before. Again I assume you only use LR to manage Raw and not the exported Jpeg. May need to explain a bit deeper on your workflow.

I actually use LR to make adjustment on jpeg pictures too. Should I NOT do that???

What I did last time is:
1. edited jpeg, click "select all" then export with same file name , selected "overwrite without warning"

2. my computer hang gay and restart, so some pictures had been exported but some had not

3. i go back to the same album, select all and export again

The result is:
for those which had been exported during the 1st time, all the adjustments made (e.g. exposure, cropping, etc) had been reapplied to the pictures, exported and overwrote the previous one

I assume you are using LR3? When you export an edited jpeg file in LR, it creates a copy of the file and won't overwrite the original. In that case you can still go back to LR and do a Reset or Redo of the original jpeg files and export again. Also keep in mind editing Raw or Jpeg in LR are non-destructive. You can always go back to the originally either within LR or outside LR.

As for raw vs. jpeg, I assume you shoot in jpeg hence edit in jpeg. Raw vs. jpeg is a matter of personal preference or need. I only shoot in Raw. Raw gives me more flexibility on post processing. LR handles Raw so well and I really don't have reason not to.

Lightroom 其中一個 selling point 就係可以唔 touch original，同可以 create multiple virtual copies....

I tried to force over writing the original and LR3 wouldn't allow me to do that.

I am still thinking and hoping 楼主 meant overwrote the previously exported jpeg files and not the original jpeg files that were first imported from the camera memory card.

i don't really understand the difference between editing on RAW and JPEG. do you mean that editing Raw will give a better result on a same adjustment?

If you really did overwrite the originals then your options will be limited, if any.

Editing Raw will give you a lot more flexibility over JPEG. You may want to try it out and see for yourself.

Post processing is part of the overall photography experience. I would recommend taking Raw (or Raw + JPEG) over JPEG for most of the cases. Trade off is Raw does take more space and time to process.

In general, you can recover more detail in shadow and highlight when you edit in RAW. Also you will have much lesser noise when editing in RAW. If you edit the in JPG, generally you will degarde your photo.
