10月去沙巴旅行，我想買可應對G9的防水套，除官方的防 水 機 殼，
請問各位C-hing 有冇其他選擇提供。THX！

可以考慮DiCA Pac。我上次去浮羅交怡帶部Canon S80浮潛(up to 5M)都無問題，仲可以收音。旺角買$258。不過要對一對邊個model適合。

I'm interested of DiCAPac too.

But I'm concerned that both my S80 and G7 has a mode dial and a multi-function dial, so how can these 2 dials be turned if wrapped in the rubber bag of DiCAPac? Or you just have to give up on using the function of the dials (or at least the multi-function dial, which is harder to spin)?

I've also tried to stuff my G7 into the biggest one of DicaPac, didn't fit too good. I mean very tight. S80 may be able to fit, as it's listed in the instruction as one of the compatible models.

Anyway, I want to try one of those waterproof plastic bag if less than $300.

P.S.: I've just had my S80 ruined by a sudden splash of seawater when I was just taking picture on a Phuket beach.... : - (

Have you actually tried DiCAPac WP510? I brought my G7 for a fitting the other day. It was a very tight fit, but you can actually squeeze the camera in, and most of the function (shutter release, zoom in/out, 4 way buttons) can be used, but the use of the multi-function dial may be a bit difficult, but the bigger mode dial and iso dial should still be usable.

As for the hard plastic diving case, I think it's about $1,200, so of course 永成 would have be glad that you buy the more expensive one lah.

I suggest you take your G9 for a fitting, and see for yourself, rather than being 老點'ed by the salespeople.

Saw this brand displayed in some sports shops and camera shops. It looks rather fragile and not that well built. But you may give it a try and ask for a fitting.

For waterproof case or bag, always insiste on a fitting. If not allowed, don't buy, 'cos you won't know how the camera control would be affected by the rubber bag unless you actually have the camera inside.
