Hi all veterans, could someone share how I can watch those movie smoothly in PC? I tried different players, real player not smooth at all, KM players smooth, but like slow motion. Voice track goes smoothly in both cases.

How is the configuration of you PC?

I just K-lite codec and it's so far so good.

And the configuration of my PC is :

T7300 Core 2 Duo (2.0G)

2GB RAM

Thanks yiu_hei. I'm using a laptop Lenovo T61. The processor is Intel Core2 Duo T7300 @ 2 GHz. Not sure how much memory. What is K-lite codec, does it come with PC or something.

i know what you mean when download the sample video from the web. I also have this problem when play with media player. Problem free when using Quicktime.

I use a Macbook White C2D 2.16ghz / 4gb / 250gb HD and it is super fine. PCs I heard are a lot of problem.

As the files are native MOV (I think Apple format).

Use CF cards with at least 200x Sandisk Extreme III though. Officially the 5D II is better support / speed with UDMA cards (most 300x). Shooting movies not a problem, but when playback is with slow cards like my Transcend 133x (small black boxes and not smooth, ok for still shoot though). I think this is both Mac and PC issues.

Buy a Mac.
