I just got both of two cameras recently. I had 40D for 6 mth. It gave me a very good image sharpness and colour tone to me. And also high tone priority function makes most highlight region has fine detail. I got 5D for a week from a second hand market. The intention for upgrading to FF because I usually take portrait and landscape. FF can give me a convenience of not changing 10-22 and 24-105 frequently. And the money for selling 10-22 and 40D body can cover the second hand price of 5D. However, after I tried 5D, I found that the high tone priority is very important but 5D didn't have it. The color tone is little strange when it compared with my usually used 40D. Moreover 5D aborbs dust easliy. Is 5D cannot completely beat 40D down? Now i'm struggling which system I should be kept. Can any Chings advise me? thank you.
