Impressive. Seems the camera IQ is far improved from 5D MK2.

More, the focus point is also very impressive for me. Is time to fight back Canon!

D800E is also a good camera, but higher resolution is not a key point for me (most of) the user. Just want to say, both gears are cool and just depends how you use it to capture your photo.

I will go for the 5D MK3 because I have lots of Canon lens.

And I don't want a larger file size because I need to replace the iMAC to a faster one for processing photo and need to spend more time on photo process. (Its useless for me)

d800 also is good
but this kind of high pixel machine better to use only iso100~iso400
if not will not get the best result of 36mp
so why i think d800 only for studio that with flash only
