Ching, have you compared 70-200 F4 IS and 135 when taking video?
Is IS (stabilizer) important for video taking? or Image can be stabilized in post editing?

其實如果有70-300L拍片，會好好多，因為佢對焦同變焦調轉左，反而係拍片既時候方便左。。。可以做到同時變\對焦(追焦)，但如果我簡都你70200
|

應該係70-200好一點，雖然有腳既話會用少少135 :D

手持拍片... 有is 係差好多好多... 就算用埋胸架... 有is 你明顯感覺到分別...
上showroom 試o下24-105 同24-70 你就會明...

Wesley Ching, I was addicted to DSLR video taking after I tried 5D2 and 70-200 2.8 II half year ago. This is my video.

But at the same time, I was addicted to image quality as well...........
For image quality, no doubt that 135L is better than 70-200 F4 IS
But video stability, I think Stabilizer is also important.
Difficult to choose

如果你影係人... 有哂story board... 胸架落腳落軌影... 用定焦都仲ok...
但係你影動物... 好多時control 唔到佢o地行徑... 用zoom 一定好好多...
FF F4 你近少少影個景深已經淺... 唔少婚禮片依家都用5D2+24-105 影... 同一距離... 用支70-200 F4 減覺仲更加淺... 所以係唔係要去到135 F2 真係要睇題材...

I mainly take photos, therefore I think of 135 first. But when I consider video, I think of IS zoom lens

其實好睇你影乜.
如果影人或者係幫人影野, 而人地係唔會遷就你既, 我覺得ZOOM LEN會方便好多.
但如果你自己一個周圍影野既, 咁你咩鏡都無問題
唔係話定焦唔得, 不過變化少左, .亦要好多因素配合, 例如場地, 人物等. 再講, 135mm都算係比較長既焦距, 更加唔易影.
如果錢唔係問題, 就一支zoom for video, 一支prime for photo.
如果錢方面真係有問題既. 咁影video, 唔使一定用L鏡既

you are right
video is not my first priority but just sometime video is more suitable for some circumstances
maybe a Tamron 70-300 VC can serve the purpose as well.

I don't know why I tend to use a more tele side for video. I don't like standard to wider lens for video. Maybe because I can move my frame so I tend to use a tele one.
