All Chings, anyone try to dismantle the EFs 55-250 plastic mount and use it on FF camera?

I have a stupid thought. I am upgrading to 5D3 and sometimes like to take movie. I know that IS is important for movie but AF is useless. I don't want to spend too much to buy a 70-200 L therefore I am thinking of 55-250 with IS and modify it to suit FF.

In fact I searched web before I posted. I can only find other EFs modified to FF, but not 55-250. That's why I ask here.

55-250 唔會打板咩?
我有55-250同5D2...但唔敢試....

In my own opinion and experience.... most tele lens with rear element far aways from the reflex mirror. Only those ultra wide lens would have lenses very close to the reflex mirror. Therefore I thing 55-250 would be very safe....

Kamwabb, you have 55-250, can you check at 50mm, is the rear lens exceed or very close to the mount?
