today I take my 5D Mark III to canon to repair the light leak problem. It takes 2 working days. CS said not by black tape but will install same parts under the LSC panel. Hope can solve it and no dust in .

Ching, please update the result of the service. I am thinking if really need to take the 5D3 to CS. Thank you !

CS told me that tomoorow is full, the fastest will be on next Tue. I asked if they can repair it immediately, they siad must left dowm the cam for 2 days. I took it to Canon on tonight 18:30.

I think i will not take it to cs,coz i dont like they open the "body"......
and put some tape or dust on it...haha

做了第一批白老鼠 , alert other ching beware of this problem before buy it. 還被駡是N 記打手, 真無奈 !!

好多機第一水都有問題啦... 未出5D3 我都話唔趕著買o既唔想做白老鼠o既可以等半年後先買...
之前7D / 5D2 我都係出o左起碼半年我先買... 不過今次5D3 就買第一水...
5D3呢個咁o既問題比起 7D/5D2/D800/D4 第一水既問題... 根本濕濕碎...
