have Canon 70-200mm F4 usm & Tamron 70-200mm F2.8 (nikon version) before.
BUT now only keep the Canon 70-200mm F4 usm, as the Tamron 70-200mm F2.8 (nikon version) has some focusing issue with my D40X & it is too heavy, so sold to my friend whose D200 works perfectly with it.
The little little white is a little better than Tamron at 4 in most focal lengths.
