曾經我有這支鏡, 論鏡本身是很好, 尤其色彩還原力一流!
不過好多巳發白!! 想買要想清楚先!

Thanks Ching Chung. I have one and it has not only have this problem, it has lots of bubbles inside the lens. I took this to Canon Dealer for repairing but they said that they could found some fungi inside the lens.

What a funny , I think is , they said that the bubbles were caused by fungi ? I then asked them whether it was due to the separation of the coating. Their answer was No.

They refused to clean the lens if only if I can accept their conditions that
some parts may be damaged during the process and also they told me that they will not have any spare parts for the lens. I strongly expressed
my will that Canon should have to do something on the maintenance
service of their products even if they were ceased to manufacture.

Hoping some Ching, like my situation, can say somthing on it !!!

Canon已經停產了, 亦唔會有幫到手! 幫你手, 叫亞水去買新鏡, 在商言商!!
不過我有位朋友, 他亦有這支鏡! 約兩年前找我, 叫我幫手看看發白問題!! 他真好野, 在大陸網上找到出事果片OEM鏡片, 跟著找人代工修理!! 寄左支鏡上大陸修理, 約花左一個星期時間!
我只喺share一些資料給你, 唔喺叫你照樣去做!! 後果自負!

In the past few days, I 'd searched from the websites and found that lots of this type of lens had the same problem occurred but the Canon dealer denied for that. It is ridiculous that they said " No one had even reported this to them".

They also said that if the problem was true, they had been announced to the Public already. Do you trust that ?

YESTERDAY, I TALKED TO MR. KO OF CANON DEALER AGAIN AND HE INSTISTED THAT NO ONE HAD EVER COMPLAINED THAT SOME PART OF THE OPTICAL INSIDE THE 28-80 F2.8 L LENS WOULD GRADUALLY TURN MILKY. DO YOU THINK THAT HE WAS NOT TEELING THE TRUTH ?

2/ HE ALSO POINTED OUT THAT THERE ARE FUNGI WERE FOUND INSIDE IT BUT COULD NOT EXPLAINED THE REASON OF THE BUBBLES OCCURED. ACTUALLY, I PUT THIS INTO MY DRY BOX ALL THE TIME. CAN SOME CHING TEACH ME ABOUT THIS ?

我聽D前輩講, 這個問題唔喺Canon獨有, 其他日本廠都發生過!!
小弟是影相人, 我上年中將支鏡賣左出去, 作為買新鏡一D補貼!!

因為我想睇下是什麼效果，因為藝術E家野，有時錯有錯著，邊緣白化，轉影淡色作品可能有意外收鑊

我可以話你完全無講錯!!
我引述二手佬講的話, 喺你哋部份人唔鍾意啫!! 基本上就好似加左柔焦効果一樣!! 所以有人要, 有市場或二手價值, 如果唔喺, 他們亦唔會去收一支唔用得的鏡頭!!

MY PROBLEM IS YOU CAN NOT FIND ANY SHARP IMAGE AT ALL. THE EFFECT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE USING SOFT-FILTER.
