我想問市面有甚麼牌子的代用電比較可靠和安全.
請分享. 謝謝!

I've tried 2 different brands of 代用LP-E6電, I found:

(1) both of them cannot be charged with the CANON charger and have to use the supplied charger for my 5D Mark2.

(2) none of them can communicate with the camera in the battery grip or the camera itself. BUT both of them can be used to power the 5D2 (firmware 1.03)

(3) One of them ($180 per set), when the battery is fully charged, the battery indicator in the camera indicate the battery level even it cannot communicate with the camera.

(4) The other brand ($200 per set), even if it is fully charged, the battery level meter of 5D2 indicate the battery is empty, but the battery can be used to take even movie.

(5) None of the supplied charger can charge the original LP-E6.

My conclusion, WAIT for the better ones to come, don't buy at this moment.

Because I saw Sido bettery they said 電池全為雙保護，防過度充電！防短路！一年保養！一年內有任何問題都可以換貨！200大洋.
But I never hearing this brand.... >_<

剛剛在城城買了原廠電,售580,還有一個

mine was bought from MK citicall next to Bank centre ($250)

i use it with a original battery in the battery grip
it seems to function normally but the battery level is unsatisfactory
2 battery together can take less than 500 shots ( with only 10- taken in live view, less than 10 sec on movie)

and there is a new problem which seem never occur before
few days ago when these 2 batteries are used together, the auto-power off cannot function (set to auto power off in 1 min)
this has given me a sudden 'surprise' of hving no more battery in the middle of a trip... so sad
any ching has comments?

不少人有使用代用電的經驗，多數是沒有問題的。

但出事的總是代用電居多。

有點博一博的感覺。
