Want to buy a Tripod for my Canon DSLR any comments or things I need to beaware of when looking for Tripod, thankss!

I use Manfrotto 458B with 322 RC2 ball head. Stable enough for my 40D + battery grip + 70 - 200 F2.8 + flash :P

With ball head, you have greater flexibility in controlling your camera in most direction.

要睇你機身加鏡頭嘅重量。雲台同腳要有相符嘅負重量，如果唔喺就唔穏陣。

Just my 450D + Canon 18-200mm. Cos, i seen a lot of people choose 190 or 055.
If mainly for me is outdoor (1 or 2 time when hiking), which one should i buy & Must i buy the Ball head too? Does the standard tripod is good enough for outdoor shooting?
