canon 50/1.4 is better in resolution when f<4, and CA of Canon is better as well.

For f>4, sigma is better in resolution, but higher CA in nearly the whole range.

我兩支都試過，最終都係揀左 Sigma 50 1.4.

if you usually take pictures with f<4 and don't mind the CA, then that's no problem for you to choose sigma ar!

sigma 1.4 very nice bokeh, dream like bokeh.

Goto a shop with good reputation, choose 1 from at least 2 sigma which has least front/back focus issue. Vote for sigma for its nice bokeh

It seems to me that the result is somehow in line with that in dpreview. The CA of sigma is nearly double of Canon.
