I saw many people asking about these 3 models. Please kindly take a look at the following link:

I am surprised that even dpreview has missed a VERY IMPORTANT comparison, which is the Image Processor.

Both 50D and 500D are using the latest DIGIC 4 processor while 450D is using DIGIC III.

Also, both 50D and 500D have the function to calibrate and adjust the darkened corners at wide-angle shooting. But 450D does not have this new function which can be only found in 5D, 50D, and 500D.
