i have used 40D for a while.. i have a plan to upgrade to FF camera in the future.. probably a year later or so.

my lens collection as follows :

1. Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
2. Canon EF 24-105mm f/ 4.0 L IS USM
3. Canon EF-70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM

Plan to invest one more len:
4. Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L II USM

is it good enough already ? any comment or suggestion ?

you have to tell others what you need in the first place.

depends on what you'll be shooting ... normally, you won't need more than 24mm at the wide end, and you'll lose 200-320 at the tele end when going FF

my 2 cents:-

- trade your 24-105/4 IS for 24-70/2.8
- add a 300/4 IS if you need focal length beyond 200mm

this said, 16-35/2.8 II will be good for 40D as 24 = 38 on APS-C

鏡頭就好似金錢一樣,無話幾多先夠,幾多就唔夠! 能夠滿足你拍攝上需要o米就夠, 有d要求做唔到o米唔夠囉!
再者, 追求器材比追求相片有內容,idea容易.可以o既話o係影像同拍攝手法上花d功夫仲會比較實際d!
