5D2 vs D700, which one would you buy?

i am use canon,and like 5d2,but d700 also is very good!i have fd use d700 + cheap lens 50m 1.8,but the result is very good!

二部價錢差不多的話當然要二千萬畫素啦,ff 機種應該是二千萬畫素為基本,換句話說d700 d3很快就落後

I have always love Canon more, and would have chosen 5D2 for sure, if it has more AF points + built-in flash + higher FPS.

I've compared my friend's E3+ZD 50-200mm F2.8-3.5 SWD with my 50D+70-200/f2.8IS & non IS. The speeds in outdoor are more or less the same. BUT for indoor, my 50D+70-200/f2.8IS & non IS combo wins a lot.

ALSO, due to the slow writing speed (or small amount of buffer), once E3 fired over 3-5 photos, everything will be very very slow as compared to 50D+70-200/f2.8IS & non IS

D700 & 5D2 are different species:
D700 is an action camera, higher MP simply not quite acceptable in terms of speed (remember Nikon D3 vs D3x, which one is faster?)

5D2 is a landscape camera, its speed (everything) cannot be compare even with 50D

I am a Olympus E-3 user and I just want to clarify 1 point, if you are using sandisk extreme III, you can shoot upto 14-15 frames in RAW without any delay (almost no limitation on Jpeg).

"everything become very slow in 3-5 frames" <---- seems not too reasonable for a 5 frames/sec. camera.
