After using 350D for about 4 years, it's time for upgrade. I like the 5D II, but can't decide to get the body only, or body + 24-105 lenses. I have a 350D and 620 (1st generation EOS) bodies.
Lens: EF 28mm 2.8,
EF 35-135mm 3.5-5.6 USM.
Sigma 150mm 2.8 Marco.
Kit lens for 350D, 18-200mm Tamron (A014).
I like to utilize the lens I have, anyone have any suggestion?

Well, it is depends how much money you have???
Save money then use your own Lens first, if you don't like it then buy other good Lens later (24-70 and 70-200 etc).
Personally, I will buy the body first.
Also, you can sell some of your old Lens, since there are many overlapping.

My consideration is 5DII needs goods quality lens. Not sure the lenses I have are good enough. Does anyone use the EF35-135 and EF 28mm lens on a FF body?

With 350D, I use the Tamron and Sigma for some Macro shots. Haven't used both Canon lenses for long time. I have them for long time and use them on the 620 body. I started to do more macro recently. I think the Sigma should be fine for FF body, but still good to have a general purpose lens. If the EF28 and 35-135 are fine, I can save the money for other equipments.

I think you better buy the body with 24-105, I have 5D for more than 2 years and I found the 24-105 is the lens I use it most on my 5D.

Your 28mm f2.8 will be good enough on 5D II as this is a prime but the 35-135 may not be good enough for 5D II. Unless you want to buy 24-70 f2.8 otherwise 24-105 is the best all round lens for 5D II, the only draw back is the distortion of 24-105 is bigger than 24-70 but it is cheaper and one stop faster.

I don't buy 24-70 for few reasons, it is heavier, shorter range and without IS. I am waiting the 24-70 IS if Canon will produce it.

Agreed with bb, I have a 5D MkII and the 24-105 is on it 95% of the time.

I have a old lens 28-105 with my film camera before, though this is not a L lens but I am satisfied with its performance. I still struggle for the upgrades of a 5D single body or kit set.
