It seems not much people use "fisheye lens", however, if you just check its detail from makers website, you will understand that the Sigma 8mm fisheye (a relatively new model, 2006) has better MTF than both canon 15mm F2.8 & Sigma 15mm F2.8. Both FF and APS-C work fine.
