I have A16 and SSW with 400D

I want to have a single focal length lens for a wedding party, which one is good, sigma 30 1.4 or canon 85 1.8

Both seems good for protrait

50 F1.4 or 35 F2 or 28 F1.8 or 2 4 F2.8
Because of your lens need x 1.6
For wider view I will suggest to
28 x 1.6 = 44.8mm
24 x 1.6 = 38.4mm

For model will use.
50 x 1.6 = 80mm
35 x 1.6 = 56mm
If you use 85 x 1.6 = 136mm t is fast away.

Depends on your party area & you like to take the photo style.

50 for 半身 or 大頭
35 for 大半身 or 全身

prime lens 85mm because u already have A16.

but .... people won't wait for u to change lenses.... better to have 2 bodies.
