我發現 Canon 近期的確進取不少。。。每次對手（N 記）出機都可以有一部勁機同對方對堪。。。今次 7D 明擺對 D300S 而來。。。

CANON 係 MARKET SHARE 方面亦滲透每一個層面，無論DC，DSLR， PRINTER， OFFICE EQUIPMENT 。。。等等， 都是數一數二。。

而 NIKON 只係係幾個領域有空間。。 CANON 的資金優勢無可比異。。可投入大量金錢做研發。。。而NIKON 到而家都是由SONY 做CMOS。。

看來 NIKON 一哥地位快不保。。。。。

Nikon has long not been at the first place since Canon produced the 1Ds FF digital camera. Nikon is a historical no 1 in film age but the situation is changing for recent digital camera age.

However, the advantages of Canon has been reduced. Now Sony also produced FF sensor for itself and Nikon. In the early year of AF lenses only Canon produced USM lenses but recent years most other brands can produce lenses with USM although they called with different name.
Canon use CMOS in the very early age of digital camera but recently most brand use CMOS and the low noise level at high iso advantage of Canon is reducing and even losing due to too much pixe.

Canon did not put too much features in the lower level body but recently put quite a lot of features on their bodies simply because of the pressure from other brands.

Given Sony is so aggressive in the DSLR market we will enjoy a better product with cheaper price.

其實睇番呢個 FORUM.. D POST 比其他牌子多成幾陪就知CANON 的受歡迎程度。。加上 Canon DC Market 的普級。。有好多的 DC user 會跟住上 DSLR

Canon 7d is better than D300s, 5D Mark 2 is better than D700. it is Canon 近期的優勢.

另外論DC，真係唔好買Nikon，Nikon DSLR 做工好，但唔知點解DC就同Canon差一節

我公司會買DC仔俾員工影相的(工作須要)，一批一批的購入，Canon,nikon,sony,samsung等都試過，同價位始終都係canon最好，Nikon俾班同事媽到飛起，仲開大會叫procurement以後唔好入Nikon，好唔掂咁話……

Actually I dislike Sony product.. I have used couple Sony product before but honestly I don't think Sony product is good except AV product and cell phone.

For DC camera.. I have used Sony couple years ago and it sucks.. and many of my friend said the same things.. I don't know if Sony has improve it nowaday or not.

Maybe because of the bad experience with Sony DC.. some people's comment on Sony camera is no good.. even DSLR.. Most of Canon DC has good comment in terms of quality and price.. a lot of people using Canon DC or prosumer camera.. these people will be a potential customer to Canon DSLR

If we take a look on Sony technology.. their main core technology was AV entertainment product.. the cell phone technology was borrowed from Ericsson when Sony buy out Ericsson. Before that their cell phone was like a toy..

Sony may good at design or gimmick.. but for real professional.. I don't think they are good..

不過正如諗魚效應。。有 SONY 呢條諗魚 CANON 才不至放慢步履。。

最終得益都係我地呢班用家。。。哈哈

其實我覺得 SONY 的底冇 CANON 咁厚才頂難市以本傷人。。。只係有FF 機唔夠。。。仲要睇支鏡。。。以原廠計 CANON 的鏡多 SONY 成陪啦。。

As a Canon user, I want to see A850 sales highly affect Canon 5D2 and D700. Then Canon and Nikon will do something...........eg. make a cheaper FF

It will be easier for Canon to do something on cheaper FF than Nikon, and this is a real 優勢 for Canon compare with Nikon as Canon produces sensor on its own while Nikon is totally rely on Sony.

If you are Sony, will you sell FF sensor to Nikon cheaply so that Nikon can be a competitor to them ? I don't think so, in the coming FF war Nikon will be very much passive given they need the supply from their competitor while Canon can be more active on this war.

吹水: Canon的500D在入門級的確佔了上風, 但再以上的級數終究仍屈居Nikon之下, 如果出埋60D成功打D90, 7D成功打D300s, 那DSLR上才算真正比Nikon有優勢; 而60D我們還未知是什麼回事, 7D也難保真的沒有技術問題(連機皇1Ds3也有過暗病, 難保7D保證冇暗病)

DC我也覺得Canon平均真的最好(DIGIC III 和 DIGIC IV 技術放在DC上的確好強), Sony太貴又不用SD卡, Nikon和Pentax造DC的技術拍馬也追不上, 其餘廠家除了Ricoh和Panasonic外, DC技術都不是Canon的對手 - Canon對Nikon真正的優勢也在於此, 可以以龐大佔有率的DC市場利潤, 支援DSLR市場的挑戰

Nikon最強的, 還是在鏡上, 光學技術和玻璃塗層技術, Nikon肯定比Canon和Sony好, 可是, 此兩種技術優勢較難普及 - 換言之亦難以藉此取得能比美Canon在DC市場上的龐大利潤

浮番就係新客了，要新客減少買5d2到某個地步，canon先會出番部平機或減5d2價

問題就係新客點睇 $15,000 sony 無video 同 $20,000 canon 有video呢？
記住新客係無我地咁有主見知自己想要乜的。

It stills need to take some time so that the Three Big Head for DSLR can be more equally share the market.

For lenses group size Canon and Nikon still have some advantages and Sony need some time to develop the lenses group, CZ is on Sony's side but recently they announced to produce lens for EF mount, I think it takes at least two to three years for Sony to have the Lenses base similar to Canon and Nikon and that will be a more equally share market for them.

Nikon will still be on a passive so long as it rely on Sony to supply sensor, but Sony also has it problem it on software side, given similar sensor the high level noise on Sony body is much higher than Nikon.

I think Canon's market strategy is very smart and has a solid foundation of technology R&D..

Sony depend on Leica to supply the lens.
Nikon depend on Sony to supply sensor.

Only Canon can develop the lens, CMOS and processor altogether by herself and so not determined by other people.

Beside, Canon already win the DC market. These were large group of consumer and these consumer will become DSLR user in sometimes future. I am the only of the user from DC --> ProSumer --> DSLR ...

This like 共產黨以前農村包圍城市打敗國民黨... 因當時農村人口遠比城市人口多... 只要得到農村人口的支持同打好基礎... 要攻克城市就不難...

情況就好似 DC 用家市場 同 DSLR 用家市場... 講到底 DC 的 Market 比 DSLR 的 market 大上幾倍.. even幾十倍.. 有這麼的利潤基礎.. 要dump 大筆錢做 R&D 絕對唔係問題.. NIKON 呢方面就差D.. 而NKON 的 Processor 好似呢幾年都冇換代

而 SONY, 此終口碑都係唔係幾好.. 而技術又唔係特別高.. 只能以 LOW PRICE 來吸引人以擴大 Market share..
