[Obi-Wan]

Recently Obi-wan said SSWIS is the sharpest zoom on Earth nowadays.

Many brothers shared many many experiences about this lens. Some agree & some disagree.

I have compared SSW, SSWIS, SWIS, SW face to face, the picture quality of SSWIS is the BEST, this is consistent with what Kenrockwell found:
"1.) Excellent optics; the sharpest zoom I've ever used. "

If any brothers have any lens or web sites links showing that any other zoom lens present available can beat SSWIS, would you please post the sample photos or give me the link?

**** If u don't have the actual experience on the lens u suggested, e.g. Leica 35-70/f2.8, please don't say it is sharper, BECAUSE this is not scientific as u did not ever tried it *****

呢支真係canon單反用家應該要擁有的好鏡。 亦都係我用過最sharp的zoom鏡，不過我唔知其他廠有冇支勁過佢的。

有人認為人云亦云，或隨便試幾支鏡就公報其偉論就叫做科學？舉凡科學研究都必需從原始的哲學理論開始，先假設模型，再不斷的利用實際的現象來驗證其正確性，並反復的修正模型，直到這個模型能夠解釋所有的現象，才能從哲學領域進入科學領域，只測試遼遼幾支鏡及從網上搜羅一宗案例，這連統計學都稱不上還自稱scientific man，真丟臉。

的確,以c記而言小小白係我所用過嘅鏡最利的,但只係我所用過的來比較而已,是否地球上最利我就唔知,就算樓主你所quote出嚟嗰句英文其實都只係呢個意思,並無sharpest on the earth嘅意思,為何樓主還要這麼堅持?

雖然 Recently Obi-wan said SSWIS is the sharpest zoom on Earth nowadays. 但係SSWIS始終係f4,唔係f2.8,遺憾!!!SWIS f2.8響好多方面係優於SSWIS f4,除左重,貴,sharp外.
我外攝必定帶埋 SWIS,就係因為(((f2.8))).

首先我冇去研究亦冇做過實驗邊支係最sharp o既鏡... 亦唔會去懷疑sswis 係唔係最sharp... 但係...
- 就算係sharpest zoom on Earth nowadays, 亦唔會係sharpest zoom on Earth forever. 攝影唔係軍備競賽, 除非係專業攝影, 一切要接近完美. 當然好多人就盡善盡美, 但係好多影友影相都只係為興趣, 有幾多支鏡resize 30%/50% sharpness 會差好遠? 世界第一係好威, 但係跑世界第十... 甚至第一百亦係跑得好快...
- 鏡o既sharpness 係好相o既基中一個因素而唔係全部. 除非有sharpness 係差到接受唔到成像. 人又會震, 機又會震, 就算幾輕微都會有. 人o既factor 對畫面成像影響更大.
呢個世界真係太多比較, 比較到自己已經唔喜歡去比... 人比人比死人... 鏡比鏡...

我呢個reply 對"SSWIS = 最sharp的zoom?"呢個題目無乜貢獻...
如果唔o岩聽... 對唔住... 請當冇睇過... :p

many readers may need to know which zoom lens is the sharpness, just as many scientists want to know which star is the most distant star from the Earth.

some readers may ignore this because they don't care much about sharpness, but some readers care because they want their $ well spent.

those ignore this thread is reasonable of course, many people on Earth does not care which star is the most distant star (they may said, why should I care? I am stilling on Earth very well, knowing this star does not change my life).


BUT for those scientific mind interested in this topic, this thread is valuable => BECAUSE, we discuss, we learn!
