好多朋友講IS, 但有如SSW IS的朋友, 你們影相時是否不會考慮安全快門, 還是都係, 影一張, 都睇下效果先放心影,

如果係咁, 有無IS好似無乜分別, 是嗎?

安全快門係一個參考,現場環境,個人手勢,站姿,影靜態動態都有唔同,你去(+所有精選)爬文,有個post'何謂安全快門',入面講得都幾清楚~~

bmsmaster, for the old IS system and long tele, I would consider 安全快門 even the IS is ON.

the 100-400L was the one I limited it to 安全快門 as I want sharper images



If it's snap shot for human, I rather choose large aperture lens instead

as even the 安全快門 can do me 1/20s, the human would shake themselves...

Therefore I believe my lens collections philosophy are
Ultra wide, go for small aperture okay as I use tripod
wide, standard, little tele (135 at most) go for prime with larger aperture
tele to supertele must go for IS lens for flexibility shoot

這樣機械式的測試當然我也知有分別, 我想問你們如去旅行, 或一般宴會典禮影相時, 有幾因為自己的是is而不太考慮安全快門

I only believe IS helps in tele- lens, it gives me sharper images starting from 200mm, I can keep using 1/320 for 400mm.....

I believe larger aperture helps more for standard lens as object moves at the same time.

I take 安全快門 as reference only.

The point is that IS could increase your chance of success under darker environment. If you can verify the result with LCD, why don't you use it?

我覺得IS 應該可以講響1 take 過或有流程的時候保到命, 自已全部都無IS 但好多時都要影幾張先滿意. 我諗IS 鏡可以做到成功率高D? 一般影多少張才滿意, 自已無IS 鏡所以都問下師兄?

My experience: last visit to a river with just 20D + 10-22 + 70-200/2.8 IS without tripod, I want to capture a silky feel of the water flow with ISO 100, f22, 1/6 sec with the 10-22 @22mm hand held. But none of the shot were sharp, I tried use the 70-200@200mm, shoot with continous mode for 4 photos, two of the photos were sharp enough. => IS had a higher chance to success AND I always shoot with 1-2 stops under the safe shutter speed! the results are very sharp!

IS 確實能將處於尷尬位的相片的拍攝成功率提高……

尷尬位 = 慢過安全快門一兩級，但又想拍下；但前提係降低快門後不會因主體移動而破壞相片

eg. 135mm 要 1/50s 拍， 咁IS 咪岩囉！
eg. 35mm 拍人 但快門得 1/15s，用上IS ，就算個景唔move，個人都move => IS 都無用，落閃或大光圈吧！
eg. 400mm 如用安全快門就要at least 1/400s了，但黃昏時有IS又可以用1/125s拍，or 動物處於樹暗影下都可以拍得放心！

所以我覺得IS岩唔岩閣下要睇你用响咩情況多……
而廠家都好清楚，唔多人對wide鏡求IS，因為 16mm 鏡用1/4s 人物都係震的，要水流又會用10s落腳，求的人少自然唔會出…

長鏡放IS就真係最多人求了，就算支200mm鏡，都想响室內用1/00s拍的！
3,400mm等的長鏡更加唔駛講要IS啦，就算單腳撑，但都希望sharp的機會高D
