用EOS 5D Mark II 拍片, 之後用電腦睇, 就算影十秒, 又turn down去最細畫質S mode, 都好似逐格重播咁, 有冇解救?

I have a friend has similar problem, he added few thousand dollar to buy display card....but still not smooth playing
he sent to me and I play on iMac...... very smooth even I still have few program is running... haha

Two options:
1. Upgrade the video card
2. Upgrade the PC/Notebook

if the movie is smooth for a few seconds, then miss a part, then smooth for another few seconds, may be CF card too slow

the movie can be played very smoothly even with an old Dell notebook with PM1.8G without speedy display card

Buy the better CARD reader or use yr dslr connect to yr pc directly for reading the card.

That's correct ONLY if you also have such problem when seeing the movie through your DSLR's LCD.

If you can see the movie smoothly in your DSLR's LCD but stucking in PC, then it's probably due to processing power of your PC.

Dear Chings,

My friend bought a 2nd hand HD camera, 1920x1080 video
He can't play on his PC even with few thousand dollar display card invested to it. I can play that video smoothly with few program is still running on iMac....

Question
1. Are the video capacity from 5D2 just the same kind as other HD camera?
2. My friend's computer is a new one just bought half year ago with added Geforce display card, he copied the file to HDD and the moive is not playing smoothly. Does that mean his computer has some problem on.....or due to software problem?

應該係software問題。 好大可能係佢software冇啟動到display card的硬解，又或display card的driver冇正常安裝。 否則新買的display card播片一定會流暢。

yes, in this case, it is a software problems. upgrape to window 7, no need any software can play HD format. Buy Window 7 can solve .

如何知software有無啓動display card？
另外响window係咪 window media player 都play到 HD video？

I've both 15' Macbook Pro and 15" Toshiba with CoreDual.
Definitely no problem with my MacbookPro. For Toshiba, initially I've problem in playing HD video with windows mediaplayer. It was subsequently resolved when I open the file with Quicktime or Picasa.
