Hi Bros, I would like to try my first DSLR
At the moment, I saw discount on 3 twin lens kits, they are:

A. Canon 1000D $5.2K
with 18-55 & 75-300mm lens

B. Canon 450D $7.5K
with 18-55IS & 55-250IS lens

C. Nikon D60 $5.4K
with Nikkor AF-S 18-55 & 55-200 ED VR lens


I am not too sure which of the packs is greater value and suit me. Could you guys please give some comments on which pack to buy? million thanks!!

if you aways use jpeg

1000d is better than 450d

becasue 450d is too soft

Thanks guys for your valuable advices... I've actually check out some sample pix from other c hing.. I think I like the colour and quality of pix from 450D more... and I found out recently the price for the twin lens kit just about $53XX due to further discount and weakerAU$, etc ... ^0^

My friend said it would be better to get a filters for both lens (for protection). I really know nothing about DSLR... Is this necessary? Do I need different filter for both 18-55IS & 55-250IS lens? if so... any budget and quality balance suggestion from u guys? How much do the filters normally cost?
