 大白+kenko 1.4x DGX Post time: 10 月 25 日 |

由暑假忍到琴日終於唔想等DGX 版... 諗住o係肥花買DG版... 點知MK 肥花冇貨... 咁我打去SSP 肥花啦... 佢都話冇canon 得返nikon/sony... 但係返o左DGX 版... DGX?!?!? 我等o左咁耐.. o係我幾乎買o左DG版o既時候突然間出現... 真係好似神績一樣...
大白+kenko 1.4x DGX 係可以用到AF... 出D EXIF 又正哂... 560mm f8... 真係爽爽爽... 雖則出o黎o既相質... 同冇1.4x o既相拉大40% 差唔多... 但係影就方便o左...

DGX can return correct information to camera, so the EXIF can store correct information.
For example, if you are using 100-400mm lens, when you use 400m f5.6 to take photo, the EXIF will show you are shooting at 560mm f8. Also, the camera will recognize you are using f8 instead of f5.6.
That means DG version can have AF on F5.6 only if you use a tricky way, and may have some drawbacks. But DGX version can have AF on F5.6 normally.
SSP Dcfever DG version 990 DGX version 1080, don't know how many stock they have. You can make a call to them to check the availability. =D
About samples, hopefully, I will get some tmr.
I think the quality is more or less the same as DG version as there are no change on the coating and lens quality reported some ppl before (don't know it's true or not =P).

which camera are u using?
I am using 5d2... it is able to af if use dgx??
boz i tried the canon x 1.4 and the af not work..
In order to have af, the manual said have to use x1.4 with 1d

chanmankam c-hing, your situation is exactly the same as mine, I also have 5D2 ,100-400L and 1.4x :))) Will be very interested to know if DGX will work.

o岩o岩試完大白加1.4x DGX... 唔係好掂... 大家買之前諗清楚D 先...
雖然佢話support f5.6 o既鏡... 但係有寫明f3.5-5.6 o既zoom 鏡會有問題...
我今日去濕地影雀... 試o左250mm 之前對焦係冇問題... 250-300mm 有兩成機會係會不斷迷焦... 300mm 之後迷焦情況嚴重over 80%迷...
但係奇怪o既係好似迷焦同畫面個contrast 有關... o係某隻雀企o既地方係下下中... 亦唔覺對焦慢... 但係o係好多其他地方又會迷... 我o係屋企試又唔會迷...
所以都係唔好對呢個1.4x 太大期望... 今日好多人都係384+1.4X... 另外見到位CHING 係用1仔+大白+1.4X... 睇o黎都係要上1仔先夠玩... :p

If aperture is smaller than f5.6 in models other than 1Ds, AF is not working.

SW+extender 2X, f5.6 very poor quality, but f11, ok quality, of course cannot compare with Big White or even Sigma 80-400 OS
