Specially,
Problems
-Focusing system so bad that I sold everything of Canon and switched to Nikon
- ISO performance the same if not worse than 50D(which was worse than the 40D, so I wonder what the hell did they improve here???)
- too pricey for its class (the same goes for Nikon D300s)
Then, you can keep your 40D and buy a good lens...
FWIW, I'm 40D user and happy with it

ching 有咩鏡? 上ff 可能好多鏡要轉喎... 如果冇機o係手之前又用開40D買7D 好D... 仲夠錢買支580ex II...
我幫人影結婚相(唔係做主)... 5D2,50D 都冇大分別... 反而40D/50D,7D,1D3 的確捕捉突發o野同瞬間o既表情係有著數...
我覺得最緊要係技術同懂得點用閃... 7D 加支閃... ST-E2 都慳返...
我見有d 師傅用30D+A16 影得勁正... 買機唔會送技術是真的...
難得ching 仲有興致去影... 依家去D 婚禮十幾部機影... 唔係熟o既我真係推得就推... =.="
影狗仔唔算靜態囉... 一般情況 X0D 同 7D 影人像都唔輸蝕... 反而鏡真係緊要D...

呢個係一路存在o既問題... 如果想用nikon 有各人o既自由... 只係想講7D係有改善... 硬要去比較有D o野係nikon 冇canon 有o既...

如果pixel to pixel PQ都冇咁好... 因為density 高o左,像素高o左... 但係如果一齊出A4 相... side-by-side係睇得出分別 (e.g. 雲o既層次)... 當然差別唔會好大...

I have no intention to compare Canon vs Nikon. This is never ending and time consuming arguments. I'm the user but not the slave of canon.
As a side note, I wonder why ppl are willing to share the photos and welcome to get the comments for others. Why they can't accept the comments from the others about the brand that they have had.
The link that I mentioned was from one of the photographer. I don't know he is lousy or not....
If you read my post, I have suggested him to buy 50D.
