You won't feel regret to buy 1Ds Mark II if compare it against 5D Mk II as the prices of both are quite similar. Thus, you must get use to it's extra weight .....

Of course, if you don't care amount money, you can go for 1Ds Mk III but seems such not necessary for non-professional user. 1Ds II is good for the good who want to use the professional equipment for the day-to-day shooting.

Believe $18K-20K is a reasonable price on the condition the machine is fully function but it may further drop if 1Ds IV released. However, something it's difficult to predict, just like 5D Mark I, price dropped crazy 7-8K just right after Mark II released but now go back to 8-9K.

以前玩過 1D 2 N
爽死，好彩我無毒發！
但1D2 的用家可能當機關槍用，shutter會好殘，我不建議買2nd hand了，不過換shutter都唔係好貴 2千左右，可以唸唸！

If so, this one will be very old, scratched, dented, very high SC, ……etc.

If you check more than once, you cannot this price any more. Go to get some reference prices at common second hand shops like Tin Cheung, Zhao Xiang Guan, Pro Source, or the shop inside Star City, etc. You will find their price tags at around $25 or 26K. Of course, you can bargain with them. But surely cannot be below $20K. You can try to see get one below $20K in good condition.

Second hand price here in DCFever around $20K or 21K usually for those with SC higher than 60,000 to 80,000. Someone will be lucky if they can find one with SC less than 25,000 and price around $20K+.

1.3x sensor is better than small DC sensor. The “details” of DC can hardly exceed that of DSLR. They are “sharp” on the screen but …… It is easy to distinguish the difference of details between a DC and DSLR although the high ISO noise is good for new cameras.

Many great photos were shooted by using 1D worldwide and printed for magazine or commercial use. Ordinary DC is impossible.

Even the best prosumer cannot surpass the ordinary DSLR. There is no free lunch in the world.

1D Mark IIN啲JPG真係唔得？咁RAW點呢？ISO同40D，5D2比相差幾多？我係用緊40D有用開10-22同24-105，諗緊好冇出咗支10-22同40D換部1D Mark IIN，定係5D好？5D2貴一倍又好似Over咗Butget了…
