Hi,

After I used my 500D to shoot movies, I noted they are in MOV format which cannot be played in Windows Media Player.

In the Canon utilities disk, I noted there is a software named ZoomBrowserEX which I can convert the MOV files to AVI files. But still AVI files cannot be played in my Sony DVD player (the player cannot recognize).

Someone suggested me to use the software 快樂影音轉換器http://www.3dprotect.com/software-kle.html, I can now convert it to other format like WMV, but still cannot be recognized by my DVD player.

Pls help.

if u played with PS3, no need to change format.

DVD plays mpeg2.

Some DVD players play MP4 also.

My DVD player is bought in 2006, it is a Sony DVD player. I tried mpeg2 format, but it cannot recognize.
