I newly joined the Canon family with a 40D. I'm choosing for a decent len for taking picture for my children, both indoor or outdoor, beside the kit len. (I prefer to keep the kit len for travel use and buy another prime or marco len for most of the days.)

Any suggestions from C Hing on the following lens?

1. EF-S 60mm f/2.8 USM Macro
2. EF 28mm f/1.8 USM (28 x1.6 = 44.8 near to standard len)
3. EF 50mm f/1.4 USM (one of the most talk about lens)

*My budget in around 3K.
