any C-hing have such experience before?

I bought a 24-70 4 month ago and used the lens quite carefully but yesterday I found that the rubber seal in the lens mount was broken...

Not sure if the Canon CS will charge on replacing the rubber seal?

i took it to Canon CS but not yet confirmed if i need to pay for the replacement of the rubber seal and this needs to be inspected by their technician.

I believe it is adesign defect of the camera body as i found that there is a small rob in the mount of the camera body which scretches the rubber seal of the lens whenever i screw in the lens...so it made it broken !

i hope i don't need to pay for the repair !
