自己預定下一支買的正是wide 鏡, 在物識之中, 原廠的 16-35mm 及17-40mm 這兩支會是優先考慮,但如果副廠有好質素的鏡,都會考慮的.想問問大家有無好介紹.
先列出自己的要求:

1. 影像質素最重要
2.17mm應是最起碼的, 有16mm甚至是14mm就更好.
3.要有超聲波摩打,例如USM (不喜歡鏡頭在變焦時的 it it 聲)
4.有防震當然更好,但不是必須的.
5.如果可裝Filter會更好, 有機會會買星狀鏡Filter,不過如果無的話都無問題,我自己可能會加個外置filter架,裝方型那種Filter
6.最好有防塵防水滴
7.價錢當然不要太過份,如果有F2.8的話,過萬都還說得過, 如只得4光圏,7千樓下先會考慮

C17-40 is a good and non-expensive len.
C16-35 is also good if you will shoot at low light environment. However, it is a bit expensive.

我自己就預定5月前買的,看看這一兩個月有沒有新的原廠或副廠鏡合乎要求,如果沒有的話,可能會在16-35mm 或 17-40mm之間選擇吧了!

I work in a Jessops. If you are rich and got lot of money to spend... 14mm is the one.

Work under low light + like to show off 16-35mm.

Want wide angle and do the job, 17-40mm is the one.

I use my 17-40 in the day time, I don't have any problem. Even I use it indoor F4 is not that slow. After all you can use the shuttle speed and iso to get the shot you need.

But I got the 17-40 for some time.... I still think should I upgrade to 14mm / 16-35mm.

Once you start buying Canon, there no truning back.

I strongly recommend you to think about acquiring a prime wide angle rather than zoom lens, esp when you're using 5D2.
The joy of using prime lens include high photo quality plus large aperture.
Recently I've purchased 24L. When I used this with 5D2, basically I don't need to bring tripod when taking night shots.

Basically wide angle lens doesn't matter on zoom or not.
