For those Ching who have TR-332:

I tried it at the shop, but can't do E-TTL.
From the flash, it shows TTL only not E-TTL. Once shutter press, flash is in full power. Very White.....
Only a few times luckily can have ETTL, correct exposure...
Why such happens, how to set to have E-TTL ? ?

First, really thanks for your reply HungFung Ching.....

I use 20D + 580 and 430 (both 1st generation)
I tried 580 and 430 one by one but fail to obtain ETTL
I also notice that on the 580 or 430, it shows the icon TTL only when I turn the dial on 20D
And only a few times obtain the correct ETTL shots, others are full power output with 3to5 sec of charging on flash.
