My OS is window XP SP2. The EOS Utility didn't work after installed. The screen showed it encountered a problem and needed to be closed on each opening. No matter I uninstall and install thousand of times, the condition is the same. Without using EOS utility, I can't transfer picture style setting to my 40D. So I think this software is important to me.

Thus can somebody help me to solve this problem. Thank you.

不如你試吓喺第二部電腦裝，EOS Utility應該冇問題。有冇裝40D driver？
插住40D開utility定係只開utility都唔得？

Yes. It's able to use eos utility in other computer. I just wondering why I can't use it in my computer. Certainly I didn't plug the usb in while opening or installing eos utility. I don't know why. Could you help? Is this a setting problem?
