i bought the 收藏家防潮箱 today. at first the red light inside the box was lit and the humidity was 63%. then 2 hours later the red light was off. i turned the knob to L and now the humidity is 56%. but the red light in the box is still off.
anything wrong with my box?
this is my first 防潮箱. sorry if my question is stupid.

it is normal. the red light is on only occasionally. the humidity may drop further overnight and becomes steady. humidity between 40-60% would be fine.

thank you "new hand" and pingusunny. it's LOW now and still dropping to about 48%.

Don't keep too dry or it may damanged the rubber part of some brands lens. And also the tiny oil on the surface the mechanical parts may dry up.

wilsonntm, im trying to keep it above 40%. it's now on LOW but at 38%. i hope it stops dropping soon. or i might turn the knob to OFF.

i want it to stay between 45-55% too but i cant. it keeps dropping. right now it seems to have stopped at 39% (my other meter in the box says it's 44%. dont know which one to believe).

You may turn the knob a litter bit higher, no need to turn it off. By try and error method to keep the humidity at 45-55%
