本人現用5D Mark2, 手上有一支Canon 24-70 f2.8 及 Canon 70-200 f4.0 IS, 想買一支再WIDE d o既, 選咗以上兩支, 但看用評語好似又各有各好, 請各位ching比d意見我. 謝謝

17-40 在ff上不是咁好, 當然16-35 好d, 但傷銀包..

1740够啦，，，广角差一档光圈无所谓啊，1635的景深也不薄的，
差价没有性能差异大

Depends on whether you really need the wide angle!
I have 5D2, 24-105 ,100-400 and recently added Sigma 12-24 and took them to Europe. To be honest, even with all the architectures in Europe, I hardly need to use 12-24, my 24-105 covered most of the shots already. Even if I need extra wide, 16mm is more than adequate. Therefore, my advice is:
1) Buy 17-40 and keep all existing lenses
2) Buy 16-35 f2.8L, and keep all existing lenses;
3) Buy 16-35 f2.8L, sell your 24-70 f2.8L, buy Sigma 50mm f1.4 (or Canon 50 f1.2 if budget allows) and keep 70-200 f4.
