patsy, I think you should forget about this lens as I ve found those retailer were radiculas, the 70-200mm was $11,500-11,980 in Jan, but Feb 01, the price is already $13,980, more than $2000, % is too much, I talked with Nikon CS about it, they said suggested price was $17,xxx, now is $18,600, so the increment is around $1,000, but why the shop raise up the price so high?! even you can find the black one, I suggest you don't buy it in this stage cuz the price is crazy, wasting the $$$! while the 70-300mm was $3,980, now is $4,450, $500 increment!
My slogan : hv money $$$ , no hurry!

Patsy,still can't find the 70-200mm? just check the market price in Mongkok tonight, it's $13,980 (cash) , crazy! better hold for a while...try another gift la! even you can find one in the market...the extra you paid can cover one Bangkok trip...it's not worth, just someone here trying to seize $$$!
