I bought the SB 900 today, the sales in the shop told me I should use only Alkaline battery, and dont use the Re-chargeable battery.

Reason: Re-chargeable battery will make the flash "overheat" after 10-15 pictures and ask me only use the alkaline battery.

Alkaline battery can re-charge the flash much faster than Re-chargable battery.

But in the user guide, it written clearly that I can use re-chargeable battery and it has a much better performance than alkaline.

Any C-Hing have experience with the SB 900 battary issue ?????

在youtube見過一條片，連閃時充電是會過熱的。但alkaline電連閃是沒問題，D3的1秒9張是可以的。

所以不可用充電作連拍，必出事。

咁 SB-800 又好似無呢個問題喎

我初頭用sb900係入普通電池，但發覺回電較慢﹙重會越用越慢﹚和電量後快用完。
之後改用充電池，回電真的很快，電量亦較耐用。

至於連拍，我試過飛橙連拍五至六張，每張相都有閃光發出，完全沒有過熱或任何問題。

自此之後，我就只用充電池了！

另外，我都曾經試過閃燈發出過熱警告。不過暫時來說，我只試過一個情況才會有過熱警告。

就是加了濾片裝罝後使用閃燈，就會很快有警告出來，我估計因為瀘片會將整個閃燈蓋著，令燈泡難於散熱之過。

希望以上經驗分享有助大家了解sb900吧！
