FF is the future and Nikon has its N24-70mm already!

Tigerowl... I really can't say if FF is the "future".... it could be M4/3 if they could improve the quality and noise control....
Anyway, just thought the 17-55 has been around for so long and Nikon continuously introduce new DX camera, therefore an improved version of 17-55 still seems reasonable....

DX lens is good for APS-C body. Nikon is not keen to develop the EVIL and compete with its DSLR market. Why do you think Nikon are interested in the M4/3 lens?

Actually I don't mean Nikon will produce M4/3 (but who can be sure?) I only meant that FF may not be the "future" if one day the technology is capable to bring M4/3 pic & noise quality to the FF level. If a smaller and more portable body is available with exceptional picture quality, I really doubt why people whouldn't choose that over the current bulky DSLR camera.

si-motion Ching, you brought out a good question for discussion - weight vs quality of the camera. It is true if M4/3 will be more competitive if it improves the quality. However, will FF body stops at current level? The answer is NO. FF body will improve as well, on the number of shots/ second, spots of focusing, noise control and other functions.
M4/3 and DSLR will still have two different groups of users. As a layman, the larger the sensor size, the better quality - correct me if I am wrong.

我都贊成guava師兄嘅講法。好多野都話唔埋。
好似當年一出數碼。d人會話。哇~咁仲點會有人用菲林呀。
宜家一街都喺。
我覺世上任何野都有得有失。到時候4/3 有可能出到好靚嘅
畫質。但是有d野可能dslr先俾到我地。
而且我都信FF會一直進步落去。。
