I am a professional wedding photographer in Australia. AIPP (Australia Institute of Professional Photographer) accredited and award winning.

well ... Wedding photography is not a one day job and this is all i wanna say. Considering the post-production, photo selection, client meetings (same clients), album design ... This is not as easy as it thought.

Thanks for giving us all the information.

A bit more information about me, I am a AIPP accredited professional wedding photographer in Australia. I am specialising in wedding, portrait and commercial. (feel free to research on AIPP for more information on google)

I realise the link you host up is WPHK. Wondering if there are any accreditation process setup in place to guarantee the quality of wedding photographer in HK?

If so, what is the process involved?

I am highly involved in AIPP and we are absolutely concerned and trying our best to maintain highest quality standard of all the members. Also we are making sure not everyone can just simply called themselves a "professional" without passing the AIPP accreditation and CPD process.


I am just start thinking what is your purpose of this post? Is that to promote WPHK? Promote "professional" wedding photographer in HK?

I am concerned when you are saying "中三以下都可以入行" and HK$30k+ per job.


Would you like to tell us what does it take to become a member of WPHK? What is WPHK do to maintain to professional quality standard? Or whether it's just a internet registry that everyone can pay to list on? Without any accreditation involve in the registration process, it is degrading the "professional wedding photographer" market as many can claim themselves as professional after listed with WPHK.


I just don't understand why a 中三以下 student can have the skill, experience to become a "professional" photographer.


Wedding photography involved so many professional aspect to guarantee the professionalism.
