You got the kit lens?

Lesson 1: familiar with different range: you can use iAuto/Auto mode, and get familiar with the range 18-55 and photo composition (cause iphone only 28mm fix)

Lesson 2: Focus. Cause the sensor is much larger, so it is very easy to out focus. Try to think of the focus (key part) of the picture, and make sure the camera focus on that before taking picture

Lesson 3: Turn into P mode, adjust the picture brightness by +/- EV.

Lesson 4: Try to use A mode, control the depth of field. Pay attention to how you change the aperture will affect your shutter speed

Lesson 5: Try to use S mode, and test the safety shutter speed of not handshake

Lesson 6: Learn the exposure rule, and understand the relationship of ISO, Aperture and Shutter
