題目EP1 use M42 lens     Post time: 3 月 23 日

Is it good? It seems like very inconvenience for just having live view but no EVF, what do u think? How abt EP2, is it come along with a EVF which can be used for manual lenses?

Not sure whether this is directly related to your question.

I found the optical view finder in E-P1 kind of useless since you can't see the setting in the view finder given it is an optical one and not the electronic one that can be used with E-P2. For manual setting mode, I tried to use live view to do my setting and use the optical view finder to do my framing. Obviously it doesn't work so well.

Perhaps the optical view finder in E-P1 will be handy for full or semi-full automatic shooting.

Yes the optical view finder in E-P1 is for framing only and it does not show any setting information. Also the view angle and area match the 17mm lens and will not be the same for the zoom or other lens. This is the reason I said it is kind of limited for its use. Hope this helps.
