See which purpose you will use the tripod. E.G. Shooting bird by DSLR or Prosumer is very obviously different in choosing weight of tripod and with more setting of ball head in shooting from high and very low level. Landscape shooting may only need light weight and durable. Of course, carbon made (light weight and good elastic) will be expensive than other materiasl. Brand name is another consideration factor, if you are very mind the china brand and china made.
