There is nothing spectacular about this image. However, if you considered the fact that the sky tonight is not really clear, and it is taken by a $3000 camera, handheld, ISO3200 from my kitchen, it is pretty amazing.

Following is the relevant EXIF info. No post processing except cropping and re-compressing. Note that the 35mm equivalent focal length is 840mm.

Actually, I think it is possible to take a shot of the moon using ISO 200 or 400 with the same shutter speed at a night with clear sky.

the figures show the picture is over-exposed by more than 5 stops, but the picture itself is ok, how come?
