Manfrotto Tripod just SUCKS!! The $1500 tripod got problems with the legs after only several times of uses (which I think is impossible enough). More ridiculously, it then voids my warranty for unacceptable reasons!! Manfrotto just sucks itself these years!

People said its quality is fine many years ago, but these days they are just getting worse!

I will buy another one from other brands like benro, which at least similar but cheaper.

我用左manfrotto 腳好多年, 新出品又好舊貨又好, 質量都好好. 比我見過既B記, S記腳都真係黎得好好多.....果D 全部都用左幾個月就甩皮甩骨, 價錢係平少少咁啦. 不過真係.....講緊放部成皮野既機上去呀, 果D 雜牌一陣用兩用整鬼爛左部機點算呀.

正常manfrotto 係比較少出事既, 以我所知既做工問題佢地一定換/整. 就算之前我自己傻傻地拎支鋁單腳黎格劍玩壞左個lock, 佢地都係收左我維修費整返好佢, 至少唔洗買過支新既先(老老實實我覺得自己都唔好意思XDDDDD)

If you want to criticize a brand or product, wouldn't it be fairer to describe the defects and their reasons which deemed to be unacceptable by you? Without the above, you were just bad mouthing without substantiation.

Being simple, one of the tripod legs' lock has problem which caused the leg unable to extend (the tripod is within 10 times of uses).

Then when I send it to repairment, Manfrotto HK attempts to void my warranty by saying that there is some "sand" on the tripiod (however they are just thick dusts in HK).

I'm still arguing with Manfrotto HK with the warranty issue now.

早年買腳果陣同D sales 吹水果陣聽佢地講過如果落沙灘/白泥果D 泥灘既代理果邊好似係有權唔認你個保養, 因為跟本唔會預你落沙地同咸水用, 因為沙同鹽份都會積左係度, 而且會搞到D 金屬部份生鏽.
如果真係落沙地泥地用既gitzo 有隻防入沙泥果隻腳啦, 不過未真正試過work 唔work

我支陳年190XPROB 都成日係沙地用, 不過次次用完都一定拆晒出黎清潔好先得, 如果唔係都實用幾次就打柴~~~~如果係塵或者沙粒積左係個腳扣既話其實用牙刷慢慢掃返出黎就得掂~唔洗比錢代理搞~~~~

Exactly. My $7xx Manfrotto tripod has been using for years.

It all depends HOW you care about your equipment. If you've really been using it at the beach without proper maintenance afterwards, who are you going to blame.

Seems to me it is just another unreasonable consumer incident here.

Afterall if you want to claim Manfrotto sucks, then dont bother getting another tripod at all. With your expectation, I don't think there would be a manufacturer that can meet your expectations.
