I still own a Minolta Zoom, which I used with Minolta SLR 505 si, this kind of zoon lens, can it be used with Konica Minolta DSLR cameras?

Sony acquired Minolta (should be the camera department of konica minolta actually) two years ago

Now Sony is building its camera lineup agressively, camera bodies are generally having higher price-performance ratio than other brands

1 more question about Minolta Tripod MX700, I got this Tripod when I bought the Minolta SLR 505 si, now using the tripod when I use the DSLR.
Is this tripod too heavy? Should I buy a new one, but I don't know much about tripod, are they very expensive? I know that if I go to buy tripod I need to bring my camera with the heaviest lens attached to it and have it installed onto the tripod to check if the tripod is stable enough. Apart from that I don't know much about buying tripod!
Could anyone offer some suggestions?

All 'AF' lens are compatible with Konica Minolta D5D and D7D and Sony Alpha DSLR.

It depends how much you want to spend on your tripod, usually around $1000 for aluminum tripod with ball head, $2000 for low cost carbon fiber tripod. You may try them out at Sham Shui Po with your gears. But the price is not cheap at SSP now.

If I want to sell my Minolta 75-300mm zoom lens, does anyone know how much I should charge? I know that Minolta does not manufacture this type of lens anymore now.
