if you are planning to use a DSLR, then i think the models wouldnt make much difference. it's the lens that you need to do research on.
however if you are ok with compact cameras, then the canon s90 is a nice choice because it has a large aperture f/2.8 (great for shallow field of depth and night scenes).
i dont know anything about Nikon. sorry.

平玩景深, 都係要50mm/1.8 啦, 無其他選擇, 各牌子質素價錢可以自己了解下
如果要zoom lens, 可以考慮下 Tarmon a09, 全程2.8光圏, 但係貴, 要2800 上下
如果有大光圏, 影夜景已經方便左, Nikon d90夜攝口碑幾好, 但係水貨都要5000幾, 玩單反係好花錢, 你都係諗掂買邊枝鏡先至決定買mud相機啦

淺景深係睇支鏡的, 讚成之前ching講嘅50.8,
canon 500d 新d有拍片功能, 450d冇.
