Progress to use:
1. Turn camera into 'A' mode
2. Turn the aperture to maximum so that you can use the brightest amplitude for focusing. (ie f3.5)
3. Mannual focus.
4 Now turn the aperture to your desired one. e.g. f8, you liveview gets a rather dark viewing. Shoot.
5.Replay the picture, exposure always is not the correct one
6.Take another with +/- exposure compensation since the lens does not provide electronic contact with the camera body, shutter of 'A' mode needs compensation.
It seems the process is complicated, but comparing with the price to this 8mm lens, it is worth buying.
