For waterproof camera, I will pick Sony TX5.

It's got the widest wide angle at 25mm.
No need to switch on to shoot, just slide the cover down.

Never a big fans of Sony, but for waterproof cam, this is definitely the one.

One minor thing, the metallic color coating of the slide cover would be easily scratched or even come off...so may be wise to pick a silver one.

Not a 江湖傳聞 at all. I've seen quite a few ones with the acrylic paint coating of the slide cover peeling off well within the warranty period. The problem is just a matter of outlook, with no effect of its image quality.

But I think Sony should really do something about this.
